Napiarissat river’s fish water extends about 15 km from the highlands to the east. There are no lakes on the river which is navigable, and it must therefore be experienced by walking a long the river banks. Napiarissat is a 100% clear water river as an extension of several smaller lakes and side approaches has its source in glaciserne 1400 masl. in the highlands east of Napiarissat.
The river offers plenty of opportunities to fish under different conditions sought by anglers, including varied to strong currents, pools and small lakes.
